This is what happens when three best friends band together to make the ultimate fashion statement.

Finding born and bred Angelinos is like finding a needle in a haystack, so when three of them come together to form a business, you can be sure it's a sign of the apocalypse. But if Carlisa Hamagaki, Mylah Tolentino and Izumi Barry have anything to say about it, we're all going to look fabulous when the hellfire and brimstone comes crashing down. Meet the ladies behind Pink Cookies, a fabulous line of wearable art.
"We dove right into the fashion biz the second we thought of starting a clothing company – Pink Cookies is the brain child of all three of us," says one of the girls. "It all started with an idea. Through trial and error we built and perfected our style and concept. Once we combined our passion for our venture there was no stopping us."
Which is why their designs have appeared in Women's Wear Daily and Us Weekly and on America's Next Top Model and the Pussycat Dolls. With fun and flirty designs decorating tanks, tees, dresses and panties depicting sayings like "Bad Ass" or blinged-out skulls, it's hard to resist the allure of their unique designs. That's not to say it's all about the girls – guys can choose from sexy motorcycle track jackets and blinged baseball t-shirts. But both have the option for custom designs, which the girls are more than happy to collaborate with customers on.
The inspiration for most of their designs comes from music, running the gamut from rock to hip hop. They say that being born and raised in LA has given them access to every phase and trend in the music industry – the perfect nostalgic inspiration to draw from.
Whether it's being able to pick the color and paint combinations to make a design as fresh as you want it or fully customizing something of your own, they believe that wearing Pink Cookies not only represents their styles, but also the flavor and inspiration as well as style and originality of the customer.
The ladies of Pink Cookies are always focused on the future – and their future plans are big ones, including turning their logo girl Sally into a worldwide icon, branching out into action wear and accessories and creating for a cause.
Says one of the girls, "We'd ultimately love to create a line to benefit the cause for Breast Cancer – it's a cause very near and dear to our hearts. We've already started with a couple items. We're also featured in The Pink Project, which is an organization that created a celebrity photo book to benefit the cause for Breast Cancer research."
Considering what they've accomplished so far, it seems there's nothing Pink Cookies can't do.
